VM Motori is an Italian diesel engine manufacturer with facilities in Cento in the Bologna area. It is jointly owned by the American Penske Corporation and the German Daimler Chrysler. This mixture of American entrepreneurial spirit and the German technical perfectionism was ideal for the creation and promotion of a line of diesel engines between 20 and 130 hp for varied applications such as agriculture, automotive, marine, industrial and generator drive both in air cooling and water cooling configuration.

Allied Diesel stocks parts and provides service for the VM Motori D series engines. Our mechanics and service engineers are qualified to service, repair and failure diagnose this series. Recently Allied Diesel has been successful in a project of repowering of old Diesel engines with VM Motori engines; the installation involved also the manufacture of a gear box to adapt the engine speed with the load speed. Allied Diesel also promotes the sales of all the VM Motori series and provides technical sales support to all OEM dealers who sell equipment fitted with VM Motori engines.
